Eildon Urban Fire Brigade Boat - Launched 21st September 2009

The Eildon Urban Fire Brigade Boat is a Stabi-Craft 859 model with an overall length of 10.3m.  It has a beam of 3m. and a semi-displacement of 4.5 tonnes.  It’s propulsion is 2 x Honda 4 stroke engines of 225 horse power each.  The fire pump is a Gamm built from solid bronze and is powered by a 34hp engine.  It delivers 1,000 ltrs per minute and 1,200 kpa.  The boat is equipped with radar, flir, side scanning sonar and ambulance equipment.
