On Good Friday 6th April 2007, the Eildon Fire Brigade helped raise $1,060 for the Royal Children's Hospital. The CFA Boat collected from houseboats on Lake Eildon, while Eildon Tanker collected from Jerusalem Creek Caravan Park, Jerusalem Creek Marina and Darlingford Marina.

On Easter Saturday 7th April 2007, the Eildon Fire Brigade conducted their annual Wood Raffle which was won and delivered to Jerusalem Creek. Many thanks to Denise Allen who drew out the winner.


On Easter Saturday 7th April 2007, Eildon Caravan Park and Blue Gums Caravan Park held a family day cricket match. The day was organised to help raise money for the Eildon Fire Brigade with the support of The Eildon Bakery Café, Eildon Butchers, Eildon Thrifty Link Hardware, Eildon Bait and Tackle, Eildon Service Station, Eildon Pondage Fine Foods, Seasons of Eildon, Eildon Outboard Service P/L, Jim and Sandra Hogan-E.C.P, Billabong Café, Eildon Medicine Depot, Eildon Caravan Park, Eildon Ice Works and a special thank you to Tony Eastwood of E.A.L. & A.W. Transport for kindly donating the jumping castle. The cricket match was a huge success which everyone enjoyed and helped raise a grand total of $500.00 for the CFA. This is now going to be an annual event occurring every Easter and Christmas. The Blue Gums Caravan Park won on the day. A huge thank you to all that participated on the day.

On Easter Sunday 8th April 2007, the Eildon Fire Brigade assisted the Eildon Holiday Resort in conducting an Easter egg hunt for the children in the Park.


On Saturday 30th December 2006, Eildon Caravan Park and Blue Gums Caravan Park held a family day cricket match. The day was organised to help raise money for the Eildon Fire Brigade, with the support of Eildon Bakery who donated all the bread, Eildon Butcher shop for supplying the sausages and Eildon Bait & Tackle for donating a fishing rod to which a happy young girl won the prize, EAL & AW Window Transports for donating two $20.00 vouchers and stubby holders and Eildon Caravan Park for supplying the ice. The cricket match was a huge success which everyone enjoyed and helped raise a grand total of $450.00 for the CFA. Many laughs were had by all including all the water bombs by all the kids and adults. This has now raised the bar to organise a match every Christmas and Easter. The score on the day was a draw. A huge thank you to all that participated on the day.

Well Done to Sam Dunsford and Mitchell Fay of The Peninsula School Grade 6C who donated $40.00 that they raised selling home made pet rocks at a market day stall. Thank you for your efforts!


The Brigade recently received a large donation of firewood (value approx. $2,000-$3,000)
for raffling, and as gifts to assist residents in need. This was greatly received.
