On Sunday 24th February 2008, the Eildon Urban Fire Brigade was involved in a team building day rafting down the Goulburn River. Thirty-five firefighters and family enjoyed a morning of fun, adventure and team bonding with volunteers from The Outdoor Education Group (“OEG”) and Berry Street.
The day ended with a BBQ at the Eildon Urban Fire Brigade enabling local community members to network in the afternoon building relationships and planning more community programs for the future.
The members of the Eildon Urban Fire Brigade would like to personally thank our Captain, John Cujic and Amma Griffiths of OEG along with instructors, Tanya Faux, Sarah “Caddy” Cadwallader, Nigel Fryer, Pete Smith, Caleb Feasby and Kelly Dunne together with Cath Kesternan of Berry Street Alexandra.
